Hickman boys basketball remains unbeaten

COLUMBIA — Hickman High School, ranked No. 1 in Class 5, slipped past Rock Bridge 68-66 Tuesday at Rock Bridge. The Bruins were ranked No. 10 in the Class 5 poll.

Hickman is 9-0 with the win. Rock Bridge took its first loss of the season to be 6-1.

Hickman plays host to Jefferson City on Thursday. Rock Bridge plays in the HyVee tournament on Saturday at Avila University.

Tolton Catholic, ranked No. 4 in Class 2, beat Centralia on Tuesday for its first home victory.

Josh Boyer had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Blazers. Tolton is 4-1 with the win and plays again Tuesday against Palmyra in the Moberly Shootout tournament.
