Rock Bridge girls basketball sails past St. Thomas Aquinas

COLUMBIA — Rock Bridge girls basketball sailed to its sixth consecutive win Friday, defeating St. Thomas Aquinas 46-24 in the Hy-Vee Shootout at Avila University in Kansas City.

Sophie Cunningham led the Bruins in scoring with 14 points.

Rock Bridge was up 20-9 at halftime and had the lead at the end of each quarter.

The win puts Rock Bridge at 6-2 for the season.
