Harold Lloyd Nichols owned Witt Print Shop for 31 years

COLUMBIA — Harold Lloyd Nichols of Ashland died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. He was 77.

He was born Dec. 20, 1936, in Boone County, to Johnny Harold and Vernelle Griffin Nichols. He married Shirley Calvin on Nov. 25, 1954.

He owned and operated Witt Print Shop in Columbia for 31 years before retiring. He served as a deacon at Goshen Primitive Baptist Church for more than 50 years.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Shirley June Nichols; two daughters, Janice Wobbe of Ashland, and Cathy Ash, and her husband, Ray, of Columbia; four grandchildren, Bryan Wobbe, and his wife Vicky, Justin Wobbe, and his wife Carly, Jenna Ash and Jon Ash; and five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Reagan, Cami and Cash.

His brother and sister died earlier.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. on Monday at Robinson Funeral Home, 601 N. Henry Clay Blvd., Ashland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Goshen Primitive Baptist Church, 500 W. Cedar Tree Lane, Hartsburg. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Goshen Cemetery, 500 W. Cedar Tree Lane, Hartsburg, MO 65039.
