*CORRECTION: Dalrymple will visit Columbia on Monday, Jan. 13. An earlier version of this article misstated the date of his visit.

COLUMBIA — Scott Dalrymple and Randy Hanna both say they're impressed with Columbia College.

As chancellor of the Florida College System, Hanna oversees more than 870,000 students on 28 campuses. As dean of the School of Liberal Arts at Excelsior College in New York, Dalrymple oversees undergraduate and graduate programs in humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

The two finalists for the job of Columbia College president will visit the college next week — Dalrymple on *Monday and Hanna on Tuesday — to tour the campus and to attend open forums with the community, staff and students. The Board of Trustees has said it will take student and faculty feedback into account when making the final choice between the two candidates.
