Malik Ray leads No. 3 Columbia College men's basketball

Freshman forward Malik Ray scored a career-best 17 points to help the Columbia College men's basketball team overcome a second-half deficit and beat Williams Baptist 77-72 in an American Midwest Conference game Thursday night in Walnut Ridge, Ark.

The Cougars, ranked No. 3 in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll, improved to 14-1 overall and 5-0 in the AMC.

Wiliams Baptist led by as many as seven points in the second half before Ray spearheaded a Cougars charge in the final 11-plus minutes.
