Cardinals players to attend Missouri men's basketball game

COLUMBIA — Michael Wacha, this year's National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player, and several of his St. Louis Cardinals teammates will attend the Missouri men's basketball game Saturday.

The event is part of the Cardinals Caravan, and Mizzou Arena will open at 11:30 a.m. for fans to get Cardinals players' autographs. Only children ages 15 and under will be able to get autographs.

Cardinals fans must have a ticket to the Missouri basketball game to get autographs.

Also scheduled to attend Saturday are Cardinals players Tyler Lyons, Jermaine Curtis and Stephen Piscotty. Cardinals radio announcer John Rooney is scheduled to attend with former Cardinals Alan Benes and John Costello.

The Cardinals Caravan will also be in Mexico and Jefferson City on Friday and in Moberly at 6 p.m. Saturday.
