Columbia men's basketball escapes with win

COLUMBIA — Columbia College's men's basketball team earned a 70-67 win at home Tuesday night over Mid-Continent University.

Columbia improves to 16-1 overall and 7-0 in the American Midwest Conference.

The Cougars led 39-35 at halftime.

Jeremy Nolen led Columbia with 16 points, and Marcus Whitt added 14 points.
