Edward D. Sapp worked as carpet installer

COLUMBIA — Edward D. Sapp of Columbia died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. He was 78.

He was born July 23, 1935, in Ashland to Elmo and Alma Calvin Sapp. He married Frankie Crosswhite Stone on Feb. 16, 1963.

He worked as a carpet installer.

Mr. Sapp is survived by his wife, Frankie Sapp; a daughter, Sandra Sapp Dering, and her husband, Tracy, of Mansfield; a brother, Glen Sapp, and his wife, Lois, of Hartsburg; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His parents, a brother, Robert Sapp, a sister, Mary Lee Harmon, and a son, Dale Alan Sapp, died earlier.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1217 Business Loop 70 W.
