Missouri's Lauren Reedy named SEC Female Diver of the Week

COLUMBIA — The Southeastern Conference on Tuesday named Missouri sophomore Lauren Reedy the conference's Female Diver of the Week.

Reedy won the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard competitions Jan. 18 at Iowa City, Iowa. Missouri competed against Illinois, Indiana and Iowa.

She scored 342.55 points in the 1-meter and set a school record. Reedy established the best 1-meter score by an SEC diver this season. Her 3-meter score was 328.95 points.

This is Reedy's first diver-of-the-week honor. She has seven event wins so far this season.

Missouri returns to competition Saturday at Springfield for a 1 p.m. dual meet against Drury.
