Missouri gymnastics loses to Kentucky

A couple of strong performances from freshmen were the bright spot for Missouri gymnastics. But Kentucky stopped the Tigers 195.150-193.775 Friday at the Hearnes Center.

Freshman Lark Pokladnik of Dallas, Texas, stepped in on the floor routine for the Tigers with a score of 9.700, MU's third-highest floor score of the night. Anna Bowers, also a freshman, impressed with a score of 9.850 following Pokladnik.

Junior Rachel Updike headlined the night for the Tigers, placing first in vault with a personal best of 9.925 and sharing first in the uneven bars with a score of 9.825.
