Randall Carl "Moose" Mueller worked as letter carrier, served in National Guard

COLUMBIA — Randall Carl "Moose" Mueller of Centralia died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014. He was 82.

Mr. Mueller was born on July 10, 1931, in Jefferson City, to Carl A. and Rose M. Mueller. He married Lorene Farrar on July 29, 1950, in Columbia.

Mr. Mueller worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 33 years and served in the National Guard for 20 years.

Mr. Mueller is survived by his wife, Lorene; three children, Randall Mueller Jr. and his wife, Terry, of Springfield, Kim Veley and her husband, Chris, of Winter Haven, Fla., and Tammie Morris of Centralia; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

His sister and son-in-law, Jimmy Morris, died earlier.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
