No. 6 Columbia College men's basketball defeat Harris-Stowe 81-51

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College men's basketball team improved to 20-2 on Saturday afternoon with a 81-51 home win over American Midwest Conference opponent Harris-Stowe State. 

The sixth-ranked Cougars are 11-1 in AMC play this season and completed the regular-season series sweep of the Hornets. 

Senior guard Devin Griffin finished with a game-high 20 points and six assists. As a team, the Cougars shot 52 percent from the field, making 35 of 68 attempts. 

Columbia College hits the hardwood again on Thursday at home against league rival Park University. The last time the Cougars and Pirates met, Columbia won 62-52 on the road.

Tip is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
