Two men injured in Rice Road disturbance

COLUMBIA—Two men were injured in a shooting in the 5000 block of Rice Road in northeast Columbia on Sunday night, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

The men, both about 30 years old, were transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle to be treated for injuries after being shot by someone they know, according to the release. They are in stable condition.

The investigation into this disturbance is on-going. No suspect information is available at this time.
