Fire department extinguishes small fire in Lenoir Health Care Center

COLUMBIA — A small dryer fire was extinguished at Lenoir Health Care Center on Monday morning. Occupants of the structure were moved to an unaffected area and there were no injuries.

The Columbia Fire Department responded to the call at 8:03 a.m. and were on the scene in three minutes to find light smoke in the basement. The fire was extinguished within five minutes.
