Terry Lynn Thornsberry loved golf, working in information technology

COLUMBIA — When he wasn't working in the information technology field, Terry Lynn Thornsberry liked to golf.

Mr. Thornsberry of Columbia died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. He was 63.

He was born July 14, 1950,to Hue and Phyllis Thornsberry in Richland.

He married Bronda Lynn Thornsberry on March 3, 1978.

After graduating from Richland High School, he attended Linn Technical College.

Mr. Thornsberry would take the skills he learned in college and apply them to a career in the IT industry, where he worked for more than 20 years in Columbia.

Mr. Thornsberry is survived by his wife, Bronda Lynn Thornsberry; a daughter, Krista Pope, and her husband, Larry; a son, Brad Thornsberry, and his wife, Jamie; five grandchildren, Josh Patrick, McKenzie Pope, Isaiah Patrick, Tyler Thornsberry and Emma Thornsberry; three sisters, Audra Johnson, Marsha Smith and Sheri Warner; a brother, Jerry Thornsberry; their spouses; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents; a daughter, Keri Herman; a grandson, Brandon Herman; a sister, Shirley Miller; and a brother-in-law, Bob Warner, died earlier.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Children’s Miracle Network, 611 St. Joseph Ave., Marshfield, WI 54449.
