Friday, February 7, 2014 | 2:44 p.m. CST; updated 8:18 p.m. CST, Tuesday, February 11, 2014

COLUMBIA – Columbia has seen a huge increase in resort-style student housing complexes in the last few years

Along with the spacious living, swimming pools and shuttle services have come reports of crime, paper-thin walls, unfinished construction work and high utility bills.

Please tell us about your off-campus student housing experience, especially as it relates to your house or apartment itself, by completing the survey below. Let us know where you live and how long you've lived there. If you have photographic images or other documentation (bills for repairs, for example) of problems, please email them to submissions@ColumbiaMissourian.com.

Please be specific and refrain from exaggeration. Do give strong consideration to leaving your name and contact information. We will not publish any of the information you share unless you give us permission to do so.

Supervising editors are Joy Mayer and Katherine Reed.
