Thursday, February 6, 2014 | 9:13 p.m. CST

The Stephens women's basketball team recorded its 19th-straight loss of the season Thursday and is one defeat away from an 0-20 start to the season.

The Stars committed 15 turnovers in their 69-58 loss to Benedictine-Springfield and failed to make use of the third double-double of the season from sophomore forward Dana Heggemann. Heggemann had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Stephens, and sophomore guard Seleena Neal led the team with 16 points.

The Stars will try to end their tailspin Saturday at Mid-Continent (Ky.). Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
