Former Missouri softball players Rhea Taylor and Nicole Hudson were invited to the 2014 USA Softball Women's National Team Selection Camp, which will take place June 9 to 12. They will each vie for one of 17 spots on the team's roster.

Taylor is trying to make the team for the fourth time after being selected in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Hudson is looking for her second appearance after making the team in 2013.

At camp, they will participate in position drills and simulated games, being evaluated by the Women's National Team selection committee. They will be further evaluated during a three-city tour of exhibition games after camp.

Missouri players have made appearances on Team USA for three consecutive summers, beginning with Taylor and former Missouri pitcher Chelsea Thomas playing in 2011 and 2012.
