Kewpies girls basketball team handles Lincoln Prep

The Hickman girls basketball team easily dispatched Lincoln Prep 64-37 on Saturday. 

The Kewpies got 17 points from Emily Miller and 16 from Morgan Jones. All of Jones' baskets came in the second half, and Hickman coach Tonya Mirts praised the sophomore for giving the Kewpies a strong presence in the paint.

The win gives Hickman an 18-1 record on the season. The Kewpies play at Jefferson City at 7 p.m. Tuesday night, with the boys team facing off against the Jays at 8:30.
