Columbia women's basketball beats Lyon

The Columbia College women's basketball team overcame an eight-point deficit to defeat Lyon College, 82-73, on Saturday.

Columbia, the 14th-ranked team in the NAIAA's top-25 poll, improves to 18-5 overall and 14-1 in the American Midwest Conference. It was Columbia's sixth-straight win.

Columbia will return home to face Williams Baptist College Thursday with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m. at The Arena at Southwell Complex.
