COLUMBIA — Shirley Ann (Judah) Gallatin, 70, passed away peacefully after a long illness on February 15, 2014, surrounded by her family and friends.
Shirley was born in Boone County Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on July 28, 1943 to Mary (Tucker) Judah and Vilas Judah. She grew up in Columbia and graduated from Hickman High School in 1962. She was a devoted mother, friend and housewife throughout the years. Shirley’s love of hair and makeup found her working many years at the Dillard’s cosmetic counters in St. Louis County, where she was awarded “Pace Setter of The Year” in 1991 for her brilliant sales techniques and sincere desire to help others look their best. She also had a deep love of all animals and the great outdoors.
Shirley is survived by her two children; Kelly (Kribben) Mixer and Tom Kribben; Aunt Helen Judah; Uncle Dan Tucker and his wife, Opal; cousin Mike Stroud and his wife, Barbara, and cousin Ellen Krueger.
The visitation will be from 11AM until noon on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W., Columbia, Mo., 65202. The funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
