Columbia women's basketball hits 17 3-pointers in win

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's basketball team hit 17 3-pointers in a 101-60 win Tuesday over Continent University in Mayfield, Ky. The 17 3-pointers tied the school record for the most 3s in a game set in 2002.

Heather English led Columbia with 18 points, and Ashley Fisher added 17 points. Both English and Fisher went 4-for-6 on 3-pointers Tuesday.

Columbia is now 21-5 overall, 17-1 in the American Midwest Conference. The team returns to action Thursday against Stephens College at 7 p.m.
