COLUMBIA — The No. 16 Missouri softball team lost 4-3 to No. 8 UCLA Saturday in the final game of the Mary Nutter Classic, surrendering two runs to the Bruins in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Missouri entered the final inning of Saturday’s contest clinging to a 3-2 lead. But when freshmen outfielder and pitcher Tori Finucane issued a pair of two-out walks, UCLA (14-0) capitalized. Third baseman Mysha Sataraka’s two-out hit drove in the winning runs for the Bruins, which remain undefeated.

Missouri is next in action at the Citrus Classic in Kissimmee, Fla. beginning Friday, Feb. 28. The Tigers are scheduled to play Bradley, Syracuse, Illinois State, Radford and Ohio State in the event.
