COLUMBIA — Three Hickman High School juniors were injured in a car crash near Rocheport on Saturday afternoon.

Cameron M. Parry, 16, and James R. Scott, 16, both sustained serious injuries, and the driver, Eleazar P. Timko, 17, sustained moderate injuries. All three victims were taken to University Hospital.

Parry and Timko are football players at Hickman.

Timko was traveling at a high speed when he lost control of the car on a hill crest on Route O at West Brome Road, 12 miles west of Columbia, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and through a driveway and hit two trees.

Parry is currently in fair condition, according to a University Hospital spokesman. The condition of Timko and Scott were not available.

Scott was not wearing a seat belt and had to be flown to the hospital, according to the report. Timko and Parry were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
