COLUMBIA — The Missouri baseball team will remain in North Carolina this week for a pair of midweek games following a 1-2 weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational held in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Tigers (3-3) host Liberty (3-5) at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday and Campbell (6-2) at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. Missouri sophomore Griffin Goodrich is slated to make his season debut against Liberty. Last year, the right-hander appeared in nine games, going 2-0 with a 3.92 ERA. Missouri has yet to announce a starter for Wednesday’s contest against Campbell.

On Friday, Missouri hosts Illinois-Chicago in its home-opening series at the revamped Taylor Stadium.
