COLUMBIA — Family, friends, colleagues and community members gathered to honor the life of Columbia Fire Department Lt. Bruce Britt on Thursday morning. Britt died Saturday from injuries sustained during rescue efforts at MU's University Village apartments. (Read the Missourian's complete coverage here.)
