Columbia College women's basketball ends with win

Ashley Fisher scored 18 points to lead Columbia College to a 91-61 win over Missouri Baptist in an American Midwest Conference women's basketball game Saturday.

The Cougars finished the regular season with a 24-6 record and 20-2 mark in league play. As the No. 2 seed in the upcoming AMC tournament, Columbia will host a quarterfinal game at 7 p.m. Wednesday against an opponent to be determined.

Columbia, ranked No. 12 in NAIA, shot 50 percent from the field and had four players in double figures Saturday.
