The No. 17 Missouri softball team beat Ohio State 7-0 at the Citrus Classic on Sunday in Kissimmee, Fla. This secured a perfect 5-0 weekend for the Tigers and brought their overall record to 12-3.

Missouri got on the board in the top of the third inning with three runs. Senior outfielder Mackenzie Sykes' three-RBI home run scored junior third baseman and catcher Angela Randazzo and sophomore shortstop Sami Fagan to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead.

Fagan added two more runs for Missouri in the fourth inning with her two-RBI single, scoring junior infielder Corrin Genovese and sophomore second baseman Ashtin Stephens.

Genovese's RBI single in the fifth and Sykes' in the sixth brought the score to 7-0.

Freshman pitcher Tori Finucane earned the win in the circle for the Tigers, pitching seven innings with two strikeouts and five hits.

Missouri will remain on the road next weekend, facing Texas A&M in three games Friday through Sunday in College Station, Texas.
