Columbia College softball goes 0-2 at Gulf Shores Invitational

No. 2 Spring Hill (Ala.) College and William Penn (Iowa) University each beat Columbia College on Friday at the Gulf Shores (Ala.) Invitational. The scores were 10-2 and 3-1, respectively. The losses drop the Cougars to 5-4 on the season.

Taylor Richter was the losing pitcher of the first game against Spring Hill. Amber Boehme picked up the loss in the second game against William Penn.

Columbia is scheduled to play No.21 William Carey (Miss.) University at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Cougars play No. 9 Belhaven (Miss.) University at 1 p.m., after the William Carey game.
