Columbia College softball sweeps second doubleheader in two days

The Columbia College softball team swept its second doubleheader in two days Saturday, defeating Lyon College 13-5 and 6-1.

With the two wins, Columbia improves to 9-6 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Columbia starter Amber Boehme pitched all seven innings for the victory. The Cougars will travel to Missouri Valley College for a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday. The games are set to begin at 2 p.m. in Marshall, Mo.
