THE WEEK IN PHOTOS: Children examine stuffed animals; women embrace new looks

COLUMBIA — This week, Missourian photographers captured images of defeated Tigers, stuffed animals, fiery glasswork and newly shaved heads.

Photographer Katie Bell captures Missouri tennis player Tracy Dong landing after slamming the ball across the court during a doubles match, March 9, at Missouri's Green Tennis Center. Dong and her partner, Kelli Hine, lost their match to Kentucky.

From left: Tania Johnson, Monica Korba, Victoria King and Meghan McCullah embrace one another's shaved heads at the Shave for Aiden fundraiser on March 8 at Mojo's, in this photo by Shelby Feistner. The women volunteered to shave their heads to raise money for Aiden Taylor's family.
