Cody Hendren, July 20, 1999 - March 15, 2014, of Columbia

Cody Wayne Hendren, 14, of Columbia passed away March 15, 2014 at his home.

Cody was born July 20, 1999 in Columbia, Missouri to Jeremy and Beth Hendren.

Cody was a freshman at Battle High School. He played the viola in the orchestra band and was part of the gifted program, as he had a mind like no other. Cody was passionate in learning new and exciting things. He had an endless thirst for random trivia facts that he would share with everyone. Cody was always seen wearing his Bronco hoodie with at least one ear bud in at all times while listening to music. He loved reading books, hanging out with friends, and playing Minecraft with his dad and brothers. Most of all, Cody loved spending time and sharing his knowledge with his brothers while helping them with their homework. He was a loveable person with a huge heart. Cody will be missed by a tremendous number of family and friends.

Survivors include his father, Jeremy Hendren (Tiffany McMichael); his mother, Beth Hendren (Adam Froeschner); three brothers, Dalton, Jaydin, and Tyler; a sister, Caitlin; grandparents, Gary (Teresa) Hendren and Dennis (Sue) Froeschner; and aunts, uncles, and cousins, TJ, Chrissie, Cameron and Chris Hendren, Bret Froeschner, Billy (Jamie) Froeschner, Davie Froeschner, Sandy Roach, Tammy Froeschner, and Jeremy and Richelle Lewis.

The visitation is from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 7:00PM on Monday, March 24, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, HWY 24 E & Jones Lane, Moberly, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boone County Suicide Prevention Coalition.
