Hickman girls soccer kicks off regular season at Waynesville Classic

The Hickman Kewpies girls soccer team won twice and drew once in the Waynesville Classic, which began Friday.

Sophomore Kelsey Mirts started the Kewpies season off right, netting a hat trick in Friday's 3-1 opener versus Waynesville High School. Senior Madison Kent was credited with two assists. 

On Saturday morning, it was Kent's turn to score. The senior netted Hickman's only goal of the 1-1 draw with CamdentonHigh School.

In the afternoon, it was everybody's turn to score for the Kewpies in a 10-0 game with Fatima High School. Mirts had another hat trick, and senior Erika Storvick put two in the back of the net. 

Seniors Kent, Maggie Deutschle, and Emma Coffman all scored, alongside sophomore Charlie King and junior Katie Storm.
