Strong third round propels Missouri women at LSU Golf Classic

The Missouri women's golf team played 36 holes Saturday at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La., finishing the tournament in 12th place.

Redshirt freshman Michelle Butler led the Tigers, shooting 2-over par in the third round of play. Butler finished the tournament tied for 25th overall, with a cumulative score of 12-over par.

Taylor Gohn and Jess Meek had top-50 finishes for the Tigers.

Arkansas claimed the tournament title.
