COLUMBIA —Missouri gymnastics added three individuals to the NCAA Regional field Tuesday.

Rebecca Johnson, Angie Kern and Rachel Updike will join the action as individual competitors in the April 5 meet in Fayetteville, Ark. Johnson will compete on the uneven bars, Kern in floor exercise and Updike, who is a top-25 competitor in the vault, will compete in her best event.

Kern, a Columbia native and Rock Bridge graduate, is a freshman, while Updike and Johnson are juniors.

Johnson and Updike were also selected to the Southeastern Conference's All-SEC team, along with freshman Sasha Sander, who made the All-SEC Freshman team, the Missouri athletics department announced Monday.

Sander, Johnson, Kern and Updike were the only Tigers gymnasts to win event titles this season.
