COLUMBIA — Pamela Sue Lent of Chillicothe died Monday, March 24, 2014, in Kansas City. She was 70.
Mrs. Lent was born Aug. 29, 1943, in St. Joseph, the daughter of Maurice and Luceille (Aeschiliman) Branaum.
She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1961. She married Jim Lent on June 27, 1964.
Mrs. Lent was a member of First Christian Church and the Summer Playground Association Board.
She was the financial secretary for Local Carpenters Union 1262.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Lent; four sons, Mitchell Lent of Kansas City, Mike Lent and his wife, Megan, of Springfield, Ill., Marc Lent and his wife, Sara, of Overland Park, Kan., and Matt Lent of Chillicothe; one daughter, Mandy Gaston and her husband, Kevin, of Chillicothe; two brothers, Jon Branaum and his wife, Yonmi, of Fairfax Station, Va., and Don Branaum and his wife, Bev, of Columbia; and one sister, Debbie Clark, of Katy, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lindley Funeral Home, 910 Washington St., Chillicothe. A family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
