Rock Bridge tennis opens season with win

COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge boys tennis team opened the 2014 season with an 8-1 win over Park Hill South on Tuesday.

Rock Bridge swept all six singles matches. Brian Baker, John Swift and Nate Horvit made their varsity debuts to help their team to a win, and veterans Rohit Rao, Raymond Majors and Harry Bozoian also added winsto the team's total tally. All of the wins were in straight sets. 

Rock Bridge also added wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

The next action for Rock Bridge begins at 10 a.m. Friday when it hosts the two-day Mid-Missouri Invitational Tennis Tournament.
