No injuries reported in shooting at residence in west Columbia

COLUMBIA — No one was injured during a shooting at a home in west Columbia on Saturday night.

Boone County Sheriff's Department deputies were dispatched at 10:15 p.m. Saturday to the 4300 block of Ludwick Blvd., Sgt. Kenneth Boyce said in a news release. The resident and her boyfriend were inside the building when the shots were fired, according to the release.

Deputies spoke to several witnesses who reported hearing gun shots from the road in front of the residence, and deputies collected evidence at the scene confirming shots were fired into the home.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 875-8477 or the sheriff's department at 442-6131.
