COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge boys tennis team advanced its record to 5-0 this season with a win over Jefferson City at Bethel Park on Wednesday.

The Bruins defeated Jefferson City 9-0 and swept the doubles matches. The individual matches, though, were more contested. Rock Bridge freshman John Swift was down 3-0 in the second set but battled back to win, 7-5.

Rock Bridge's Rohit Rao and Brian Baker were both down a match point in the third set match tiebreaker, but came back to win.

The Bruins next play a doubleheader at Lafayette and Parkway Central on Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m.
