COLUMBIA — The Missouri swimming and diving team received four Southeastern Conference season honors Thursday.

Missouri diving coach Jamie Sweeney was named Co-SEC men's diving coach of the year. The award, shared with Auburn coach Jeff Shafer, is Sweeney's third conference coach of the year award in his career. He won the SEC men's diving coach of the year award outright in 2013, and he earned the Big 12 women's diving coach of the year award in 2011.

Three Tigers athletes also received awards. Senior diver David Bonuchi and sophomore diver Lauren Reedy were named to the All-SEC second team. Freshman swimmer Ellie Suek was named to the All-Freshman team.

Bonuchi, a Columbia native, ended his career as the most decorated Tiger in the history of the program. The diver received 10 All-American honors. The maximum number of All-American honors a diver can receive during the course of a college career is 12.
