Tolton baseball wins second straight

The Fr. Tolton Catholic Regional High School baseball team won its second straight game Thursday night.

The Trailblazers took down Harrisburg High School 9-0 and improved to 4-5 on the season.

Tolton pitcher Rian Markes pitched a complete game. Markes only allowed six hits and struck out five Harrisburg batters. Markes also led Tolton at the plate and went2-for-4 with 2 RBIs.

Tolton takes the field next on Saturday in the Westran Classic. The Trailblazers will play Westran High School and Moberly High School.
