COLUMBIA — The Fr. Tolton Regional Catholic High School baseball team defeated Fayette High School 12-2 on Tuesday night in five innings because of the 10-run rule.

The game was scoreless until the third inning. Tolton scored two runs in the third before running away with the game in a 10-run fourth inning.

Rian Markes got the win on the mound for Tolton. Markes pitched five innings and allowed five hits. Parker Wilkinson led the Trailblazers at the plate. Wilkinson went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Tolton has a week off before getting back on the diamond April 22 in a makeup game at Green Ridge High School.

The Trailblazers (5-7) were coming off two straight losses over the weekend in the Westran Classic.
