Fan reactions to Kim Anderson: skeptical, lukewarm, optimistic

Fans knew MU's announcement of a new head basketball coach would come Monday. They didn't know which of the potential coaches being discussed would be selected.

And as a group, they're underwhelmed by the hiring of Kim Anderson, former University of Central Missouri coach.

Upon hearing the news, fans went to Twitter, Facebook, online sports blogs and news sites to express their feelings and discuss the hire with other fans. Reactions ranged from dismay and confusion to pride and hope for the coming seasons.

As long as he can get the kids playing together as a TEAM, recruiting will take care of itself.
