Hickman baseball tops Smith-Cotton , 4-1

The Hickman High School baseball team beat Smith-Cotton High School by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday evening in Sedalia.
The Kewpies were lead by a strong pitching performance from Daniel Foley. The senior threw six innings, giving up just one run while striking out six batters.
On the offensive side, sophomore infielder Carter Nicoli had two hits and scored two runs while driving one run in. Hickman junior infielder Sami Baugher also drove in a run while scoring once and walking twice.
The Kewpies take to the field again on Saturday when they'll face Troy-Buchanan at Troy High School.
