Tolton baseball beats Paris High School by run rule

COLUMBIA — Fr. Tolton Regional Catholic High School beat Paris High School by mercy rule Thursday evening.

The game lasted five innings, and the Trailblazers (8-8) won 10-0. 

Rian Markes pitched all five innings for the Trailblazers and recorded nine strikeouts. He allowed four hits and no walks.

Tolton plays again Friday at 5 p.m. at American Legion Park. The Trailblazers will take on Pilot Grove High School.
