City manager delivers State of the City Address

COLUMBIA — City Manager Mike Matthes is delivering his annual State of the City Address at the Daniel Boone Building. The adddress is coupled with an annual performance report that outlines progress and priorities in seven strategic areas of city government.

Matthes reports rising overall satisfaction with city government, a drop in violent crime, progress on street maintenance, a balanced general fund and strong economic development as major accomplishments during the past year.
