Missouri football sets time for road opener

COLUMBIA — Kickoff for the Missouri football 2014 road opener at Toledo on Sept. 6 has been set for 11 a.m. CT. The game will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

The game will feature the return of Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel to the school where he coached until 2001. Pinkel left as the school's winningest coach at 73-37-3. He was inducted into the Toledo athletic hall of fame in 2009.

Missouri's first three 2014 games are set with kickoff times. On Aug. 30, Missouri opens at home against South Dakota State at 2:30 p.m., on ESPNU. On Sept. 6, Missouri travels to Toledo for the 11 .m. game, and on Sept. 13, Central Florida comes to Columbia for an 11 a.m. game, which will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
