Man arrested for burglary and sexual misconduct

COLUMBIA — A Columbia man has been arrested on suspicion of entering a residence and exposing himself to two female residents on Thursday night.

Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said the man entered the residence in the 300 block of Moore Walkway through an unlocked door. and then exposed his genitals to two girls who were sitting on a couch. He walked out the front door.

Javante Commander, 19, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary with a to-be-set bond and two counts of sexual misconduct in the second degree with a bond of $1,000.

He had previously been arrested for trespassing in April 2013.
