Missouri football receives sportsmanship award

COLUMBIA — Missouri football has been recognized by the Southeastern Conference with the SEC Sportsmanship Award.

The league additionally honored Tennessee men's basketball, Georgia equestrian and women's golf coaches.

The four  SEC  groups were chosen by the league's directors of athletics. Missouri and the Tennessee men's basketball team tied for the men's award, and the Georgia equestrian team and the women's golf coaches of the conference tied for the women's award.
