MISSOURIAN MINUTE: Music livens up farmers market

Wednesday, July 9, 2014 | 3:00 p.m. CDT

The Missourian Minute is a regular video series of scenes from around mid-Missouri. These visual slices of life capture the sights and sounds of people and the activities they love.

COLUMBIA — Columbia Farmers' Market patrons enjoyed the live music of John Galbraith while they perused the tents and stands of local vendors at the open-air market June 28.

The performance was part of KOPN/89.5 FM Farmer's Market Concert Series, which features the live music of local musicians on the last Saturday of every month from April to October.

The farmers market is held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays in the parking lot of the Activity and Recreation Complex on Ash Street.
